Rigor and reproducibility workshop series

The UCSF Library and Graduate Division are collaborating to bring you an 8-part series on rigor and reproducibility in Fall 2019, on Thursdays, 3:30-5pm, in Mission Hall, 550 16th St., Mission Bay. At the end of this series participants will be able to define reproducibility in the context of biomedical research and will be equipped to improve the rigor and reproducibility of their own work by incorporating tools, strategies, and best practices learned in the workshops. This workshop series is open to all graduate students, postdocs, staff and faculty, but 6th Year PhD students who wish to participate in this series as a mechanism for completing their advanced RCR training in the 2019/20 academic year, per NIH funding requirements, should register at this special link:

To receive a certificate of completion you must attend six of the eight sessions, and you must complete our pre- and post-surveys.  Plan to attend all eight sessions in case of unforeseen circumstances (eg. illness or emergency). There will be no opportunity to make up a session at a later date. If you complete this course you will not need to take UCSF’s Responsible Conduct of Research Course for Postdoctoral Scholars (RCR-PS).
