Open Enrollment - October 31 – Nov 26, 5:00pm

Dear Postdocs,

The University of California Postdoctoral Scholar Benefits Plan (PSBP) annual Open Enrollment event is live! The Open Enrollment period began today, October 31, at 8 am and ends on November 26, 2019 at 5 pm sharp!  Changes cannot be made after open enrollment ends (unless you have a family status change) so please consider your options carefully.

No action is required if you do not wish to make changes; your current coverage and enrolled family members if any will remain the same.

Changes you may make during the Open Enrollment window:

      Enroll or delete eligible dependents

      Enroll in plans you previously waived

      Change your medical plan

      Change your dental plan

      Waive medical, dental, and/or vision plan coverage

During the Open Enrollment meetings and webinars, representatives from Garnett-Powers & Associates will give an overview of the 2020 benefit plans and contributions - we highly recommend that everyone attend the open enrollment meeting or webinar!

While there are no significant changes to the UC benefits offered in 2020, we encourage you to review your benefit elections carefully and chose the right benefits for you and your family.  Please visit the Garnett-Powers plan website to view the new rates, learn about all of the benefits offered to you, and take Open Enrollment actions. All new/changed elections will be effective January 1, 2020. 

To Make Changes Your Action is Required:

Go to the Garnett-Powers website and follow the prompts for Open Enrollment changes.  If you and your family members have social security numbers, you can make changes via the UC At Your Service Online (AYSO) or you can complete a paper enrollment form. Please review all forms for accuracy (including enrollment and personal information). Email scanned copies of enrollment forms to [email protected]; you will receive an email confirming receipt of your enrollment form. All forms must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Nov. 26, 2019.
