CTSI TL1 Postdoctoral Fellowship is now accepting applications

NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!

The CTSI TL1 Postdoctoral Fellowship is now accepting applications for 2020-21 (7/1/2020-6/30/2021). Learn more at the Info Session on January 15, 2020, 11-12pm, CVRI Mission Bay, Room SC341.

The CTSI TL1 fellowship seeks to train exceptional postdoctoral fellows and provide them with the methodologic, analytic, leadership, and team science skills required to conduct transformative early translational research.  Qualified clinical fellows and PhD postdoctoral will receive advanced didactic training relevant to the conduct of translation research, support from senior mentors and peers  in the conduct of their research through regular works-in-progress sessions, and career development  support through one-on-one mentoring from established translational investigators as well as other structured activities. TL1 fellows will receive a stipend commensurate to the PGY/postdoctoral fellow status, as well as tuition for didactic training and travel funding.

This is a one-year fellowship. Applicants will likely be part of an existing postdoctoral fellowship program at UCSF and elect to join the TL1 program for one year. Clinical fellows typically will be in the research portion of their fellowship with an interest in translational health research. PhD postdoctoral fellows will typically be members of basic or translational science laboratories with an interest in pursuing translational research.

We seek to recruit a mix of clinical fellows (MD or MD/PhD) and PhD postdoctoral fellows. Please apply here.
