The Science and Health Education Partnership's High School Intern Program is recruiting scientist mentors and we need you!
Through SEP's High School Intern Program, UCSF staff, faculty, grad students, post-docs, lab researchers can mentor a rising senior from a San Francisco public high school and guide them as they conduct research over 8 weeks in the summer. Most of our interns are from groups underrepresented in the sciences, would be the first in their family toattend college, and/or have faced a variety of challenges. Though many have not yet recognized it in themselves, all of our interns show great potential to pursue science careers through their enthusiasm and engagement in science. Stipends are provided to mentors and to interns.
Join us for one of these upcoming information sessions! Come meet former mentors and learn more about the program!
~Thursday, March 26th, 12-1pm - Parnassus Library, CL220
