We invite you to attend the next Basic Science Seminar and join host, Yifan Cheng in welcoming our guest speaker, Dr. Hao Wu, Professor of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, February 4, 12:10-1:10pm in GH AUD 106 for her talk titled: “Inflammasomes in health and disease”

The Wu laboratory of structural immunology focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanism of signal transduction by immune receptors, especially innate immune receptors. The lab began its studies on the signaling of a classical cytokine produced by the innate immune system, tumor necrosis factor (TNF), which induces diverse cellular responses such as NF-κB activation and cell death.
