Are you interested to learn how your scientific, technical, and analytical skills translate from the bench to intellectual property and patent law? Then come to our "Careers in Patent Law" panel on Tuesday, June 18 at 12-1:30 p.m. in Mission Hall 1401&1402.

The purpose of this event is for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in the life sciences and other technical fields to learn more about career opportunities in intellectual property and patent law.

We'll be joined by representatives from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, who will address:

  • What is patent law?
  • What is a scientific advisor/patent agent and what qualifications are required to become one?
  • How can I become a patent attorney?
